Elucide Softech Private Limited (“Elucide”, “we”, “our”) builds offline-first Windows and Android software for industrial quality and maintenance management. We are committed to your privacy.

✓ Core Privacy Principle

There is no interaction between Elucide and your installed application. All operational data — instrument records, test results, maintenance logs, calibration certificates — is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or access this data. We do not sell your data to anyone.

2 Data We Collect

2.1 In Our Applications

All application data is stored locally on your Windows PC or Android device. This includes instrument records, calibration certificates, test results, maintenance schedules, parameter readings, photos, and reports. Elucide does not collect, access, or transmit any of this data.

2.2 On This Website

If you use our contact form, we collect your name and email address. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security purposes only.

2.3 Payment Data

Purchase data is handled by Lemon Squeezy. Elucide receives only: your email address, country, product purchased, and transaction reference — the minimum needed to deliver your licence.

3 How We Use Your Data

  • To deliver your licence key and download link after purchase
  • To respond to support and sales enquiries you initiate
  • To process payments and manage your subscription (via Lemon Squeezy)
  • To send renewal reminders and important product notices
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond the above.

4 Local Data Storage — Your Data Stays With You

All Elucide Softech products are designed with a strict offline-first architecture. Your operational data never leaves your premises unless you explicitly choose to export or back it up yourself.

  • No cloud sync — data is not uploaded to any server
  • No telemetry — the application does not send usage data to Elucide
  • No remote access — Elucide has no technical ability to access your data
  • Backup by you — backup and restore is performed by you, to a location of your choice
  • WiFi sync (where applicable) — only between your own Windows PC and Android device on your local network. No data passes through any Elucide server.

5 Payments via Lemon Squeezy

All software purchases via elucidesoft.com are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment information (card details, billing address, VAT/GST number). Elucide does not receive or store payment card data.

Elucide receives from Lemon Squeezy: your email address, country, product purchased, and transaction reference only.

6 Data Sharing

We share personal data only with: Lemon Squeezy (for payment processing and licence management) and hosting providers (under strict data processing agreements, for operating this website). We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.

7 Data Retention

  • Application data — lives on your device. Deleted when you uninstall or clear the app.
  • Contact form submissions — retained for up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Licence transaction records — retained for 7 years as required by tax law.

8 Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures including HTTPS on this website, encrypted local database storage in our applications, and role-based access controls. Despite these measures, no system is perfectly secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us at privacy@elucidesoft.com.

9 Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise any right, email privacy@elucidesoft.com. We will respond within 30 days. Note: for application data stored entirely on your device, you have direct control — we cannot technically access it to provide or delete it on your behalf.

10 Children’s Privacy

Our products are intended for professional industrial use by adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11 Changes to This Policy

For material changes, we will notify existing customers via email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Minor changes will be reflected with an updated “last updated” date.
